As a Lena by Inspire Leadership Coach, I support school leaders to navigate complexity, build resilient teams, and lead with moral purpose. With over 30 years’ experience in education and training, including a decade in senior leadership up to Head of Department and Director level, I bring a wealth of insight, empathy, and practical expertise to my coaching practice.

I have led system-wide professional learning and accredited leadership programmes for principals, vice principals and aspiring leaders across Northern Ireland, and have coached over 100 senior and middle leaders. My approach is values-led and strengths-based, blending challenge and compassion to create a safe, structured space for reflection, growth and renewed clarity.

As a former Associate Assessor with ETI and an experienced Chair and Senior Governor, I understand the strategic, operational and human challenges of school leadership. I have recruited and developed senior and middle leaders, and supported teams to embed sustainable self-evaluation, culture change, and whole-school improvement planning.  I am an active coach for Transformative Education and Excellence in teaching and learning.

I am currently working with both primary and post primary principals.  I have studied myself to doctoral level and support schools on their journey with tranformative and professional development of staff.  I can advise on culture, ethos and values as well as the development of teams and curriculum for excellence.  I promote learning leadership in everything I do.
